The Challenge
Rockdog is a dog training and boarding business run by a trainer who had recently moved to Los Angeles and needed to establish herself in a very crowded local market. She had a logo, but no real branding or strategy. Her old website was messy, hard to navigate, and wasn’t bringing in leads. On top of that, she was paying a high monthly fee to a third-party company to run her Google Ads, but the results weren’t great.
She needed a real brand, a site that could convert, and an ad strategy that made sense for a local service business trying to stand out.

What We Did
We started by expanding her brand identity, using her logo as a base and building out a full visual system with colors, fonts, voice, and tone. Then we built a completely new website in Squarespace, using the StoryBrand framework to make the messaging clear and persuasive. We collaborated with an illustrator to develop custom graphics that made the site feel fun, professional, and unique.
From there, we completely rebuilt her Google Ads strategy. We targeted specific cities around Los Angeles using geo-specific language and created unique landing pages for each location. These pages were continuously optimized to improve performance over time. We also shifted her budget so that more money went into the ads themselves rather than into management fees.
To support her local SEO and build trust with potential clients, we also launched a Google Business review campaign. As a result, she now has over 70 five-star reviews.
