The Challenge
Sye Gratz is a drama therapist and somatic coach doing powerful, nontraditional work. But their website wasn’t quite showing that. The homepage was text-heavy, which made it hard for visitors to quickly understand what Sye offered or how the work could help them. Their unique approach as a drama therapist outside the medical model was mentioned, but not clearly highlighted. Navigation was confusing, and the site didn’t include any SEO to help the right people find it.
Sye didn’t need a full redesign. What they wanted was a thoughtful refresh to make the site clearer, more client-centered, and more aligned with how they actually work.
What We Did
This project was a perfect fit for the Audit and Refresh offering. We kept what was working and made targeted improvements where it mattered most.
Here’s what we focused on:
Rebuilt the homepage using StoryBrand principles to center the client and make the message more immediately clear
Reframed Sye’s identity as a drama therapist as a core strength and a values-driven choice
Restructured content to improve flow, clarity, and ease of navigation
Added essential SEO including titles and meta descriptions
Incorporated imagery that reflects Sye’s audience and makes the site feel more human and welcoming

The updated site feels more grounded, clear, and aligned. Visitors can quickly understand what Sye does, how the work is different, and whether it’s the right fit for them. The messaging speaks more directly to the people Sye wants to reach, and the visual updates help the site feel more approachable and intentional.
