The Challenge
Ersson Bartle founded Airsun Productions in Oakland in 2020: a queer, female-owned AV production, lighting design and DJ company that has worked events at Giants Stadium, the Oakland Coliseum, major San Francisco museums and Bay Area tech companies. Online, though, the only site was her DJ Airsun page: club nights and mixes, with nothing that showed a full production company. Her clients also need to know, before they ever reach out, that a queer-owned vendor will get them without explanation.
She needed a site that sells Airsun as a full production company and tells queer clients, from the first screen, that they'll be understood.

What We Did
We built Airsun's first full company website, from brand and copy through design, development and launch.
Production first. We set the message hierarchy so AV production and lighting lead, with DJ entertainment as part of the offer, not the headline.
Queer-owned, front and center. Copy in Ersson's own voice ("100% tailored to you. Zero cringe.") makes her identity part of the pitch, not a footer badge.
Brand refinement. A refreshed logo and brand system built on Airsun's existing identity, with a nightclub feel: dark sections, bold gradients and motion.
A page for every service. Weddings, corporate events, DJ entertainment, lighting design, AV production, live streaming and silent disco, plus a gallery and a testimonials page.
Built on Webflow so she owns it. We labeled and grouped every editable field in page order and recorded six how-to videos so Ersson can update the site herself.
Search and launch. Page titles, descriptions and schema for every page, Google Analytics and Search Console, and Google Workspace email on her own domain.

The Outcome
Airsun launched in October 2026 with a site that looks like the events it produces. It leads with "Top-Notch Production. Nightclub-Level Atmosphere." and backs it up with client logos like the de Young, the Exploratorium, the California Academy of Sciences and SFMOMA, so couples and companies see a full production company at first glance.
